Ivan Baker, a Certified Economic Developer since 1988, has 25 years of economic development and site selection consulting experience. Working in both the private and public sectors, he has coordinated over $1.2 Billion in manufacturing, commercial, redevelopment and healthcare projects in seven states. These projects included major developments for Fortune 500 companies like Temple-Inland, W.R. Grace, International Multifoods, and Commercial Metals, and resulted in over 12,000 new jobs. As a consultant based in Chicago, Mr. Baker has also provided location analysis, incentive evaluation, and site selection services for clients in Illinois, New York, Michigan, Indiana, Texas and Colorado. A native of Kansas, Mr. Baker is a graduate of Washburn University and the University of Colorado Institute for Organization Management. He has served on the Governor's Economic Development Council in Louisiana, was named one of Site Selection's Outstanding Young Leaders in U.S Economic Development, and is Marketing Chairman of the International Economic Development Council Certification Committee.
