Five standing committees and the Executive Committee have been assigned by the Board of Directors to help guide the affairs of the Illinois Development Council. Membership on these committees is voluntary and can be anyone of good standing with the Council.  Meetings are held approximately every month and reports are made to the Board of Directors on a regular basis.

Each committee is chaired by an active member of the Illinois Development Council. These Chairpersons have been chosen from the ranks of IDC membership by the Board due, in part, to their dedication to the mission of the Illinois Development Council and their past dedication to perform an extraordinary amount of work with no compensation.
